Better stays. Brighter futures.
We build the software that PG, hostel and co-living operators use to run their business, and the marketplace students and working professionals use to find a safe place to live.
Why we started
Thikana means "a place to stay". Across India, millions of students and young professionals live in paying-guest accommodation, hostels and shared homes, yet most of these properties are still run on notebooks, spreadsheets and endless phone calls.
Owners lose track of who has paid, which bed is free and which complaint is still open. Residents struggle to find verified places with honest prices. MyThikanas brings both sides onto one platform: a complete management system for operators and a transparent marketplace for people looking for a home away from home.
What MyThikanas does
One platform for the whole stay, from first inquiry to final settlement.
Properties, rooms & beds
Set up every property with its rooms and beds and see real-time occupancy and availability at a glance.
Tenant management
Invite tenants to onboard themselves, keep ID documents and emergency contacts in one secure place, and manage tenancies and deposits.
Rent & invoices
Generate invoices automatically, share payment links and collect rent online, with every payment and receipt tracked.
Complaints & expenses
Residents raise complaints by scanning a QR code; your team tracks them to resolution and records every expense.
Your own website
Every organization gets a branded website on its own subdomain that shows live room availability and collects visit requests.
Reports & team access
Occupancy, collection and expense reports, with role-based permissions for owners, managers and accountants.
What we believe in
Safety first
Residents deserve verified, well-run homes. Our tools make documentation and accountability the default.
Honest information
Listings show real rooms, real photos and real availability, never stock images of somewhere else.
Your data stays yours
Each organization's data is kept separate and is never sold. Read our Privacy Policy.
